Arkansas! First time in this state!

Well back on the road. We have seen many many armadillos......all sleeping at the side of the road 😬. They are such cool dudes but prefer to see them alive.

So a guy named "Cowboy" ...well we named him that,  his actual name was Clint.  But he said you know how you tell if someone is from down south? Ask them to spell Mississippi.....

If you spell it proudly as Mississippi.... you are not from down south....if you spell it like this.... you are truly from the south....

Mi "crooked letter" "crooked letter " I "crooked letter" "crooked letter" I ""hump back" "hump back" I.

So far central Arkansas is similar to northern Missouri, rolling hills and quite a lot of trees. Lots of dogwood trees here.

As today is a travel day, I always love to take pics off cute or odd things along the way.

This road to the college is very aptly named...Opportunity Avenue"...

Which light is ours.....could they squeeze in anymore here???

Typical landscape here.

And this little town died a long long time ago...I think when they built the Dollar General and Taco Bell... they killed the old downtown area...only one store still alive.

Arrived at Hot Springs Arkansas, Gulpha Gorge National Park...amazing, we are right beside a creek, it's so beautiful.

We originally booked 2 nights... then George questioned the need for that....so I cancelled the second night....then we loved it so much....we were able to re-reserve a second night,  yay!

Had a quick thunder storm but now back to better weather!

Looking forward to tomorrow!
