May 11 - Cedar Keys

The night was cool but by the time we woke up it was already pretty warm outside.

Off to Cedar Key for the day. Started off with a little kayak.
Lu was a natural at kayaking! She just sits there quietly and enjoys the sights.... now to figure out a way to get to her to help with the paddling...

Found a little waterway where the manatees hang out in....but none today...and no gators....thankfully...

I Googled.....Is it safe to take a dog kayaking in Gatorland.....and it said American Alligators were quite fond of eating dogs!!!😲

After a few hours we decided it was time to check out the little town. It's so chilaxed here....dogs allowed in stores and many restaurants...nobody is in a rush....everyone seems to own a golf cart....it's impossible to feel stressed here...

Lunch time!!!! Super dog friendly.... they can go anywhere in the restaurant....in or outside💓 The food was great. Best beans and rice and great fish and fries...beer was pretty awesome too!  They put an orchid on every plate...reminds me of Spa Utopia with orchids all over ...

And finished it off with a walk downtown.

Art made out of bottle caps by the Elementary School kids.
Random ocean finds attached to the walls of the Artist Studio and signed by whoever found them!

Back to the RV...check the map....see where our next move is to...file away receipts...keep track of fuel...food....one thing I noticed early on......I have a shortage of bulldog clips😲....
