May 7 - Sunny Saturday in Pensacola

I think the best feeling is waking up to the warmth of the beginning of a sunny day....also love the feeling of it being in Florida, enjoying a good cup of coffee and looking forward to the day.

Lu has decided she likes the lawn chair and has claimed it for herself


So many towns and cities here have war memorials, they are very patriotic in America.


Across the street was probably the most unusual house here in town...
Very nice neighborhood....

My favorite was this front porch, I could swing all day on that one...
Spent the day visiting the Historic Downtown. Lots going on here including a giant Farmers Market.

And always have someone exercising their right to free speech...


Spent a few hours enjoying the sites. 

Found ourselves a dog friendly patio on the water. Great food and tasty beer!
And a beautiful Florida sunset to end the day!

Left South Dakota this morning, through a part of Wyoming and into Montana. The scenery in this area is really gorgeous.  But before long the weather changed...storms up ahead and apparently through the night in Bozeman. Free night at the Walmart with about another 30  or so RV/camper vans......hoping for a quiet night...cold here tonight....used the furnace for the first time in a very long time on this trip...brrrr

Long time coming....

 It's been a very very long 2 years waiting...patiently waiting.....for things to return to normal... We were set to embark on this same holiday in March 2020 when Covid changed everything for everyone. Now 2 years later, our travel furbaby has changed. We lost our beloved Gracie before we could enjoy another big trip with her.  She was an amazing traveller and we were so fortunate to have been able to make many memories with her over the 14 years of RV adventures! We loved every minute of it and miss her dearly. And then along came Lucy Lu. Oh the adventures she will have!

June 10 - Lazy day

Today was a lazy day. As no cell service and wifi at the campground, I needed some down time to book some stuff. Found a great dog park and Lu made a new little friend... Like little....8 week old little pitti.... They had a great time and then back into town. Just like most towns outside of a National Park...there's a bear thing going on. We didn't stay long....little walking...late lunch and back to the trailer. George hitting the enormous candy store....$22.00 later.....omg Second night of firefly watching was even better than the first. We saw some Blue Ghost fireflies....the males stay lit for up to a minute and glow a soft blue colour...there are not many in this area as they are mostly in the Asheville forests so I was super excited to see them.
