June 8 - Last day in Asheville...

Last day in Asheville, drove another  section of the Blue Ridge Parkway over to a little town called Weaverville...stopped at a viewpoint and this guy was all set up painting...how peaceful...

Then the next viewpoint this guy was playing his banjo...such a friendly soul....just playing and wishing everyone safe travels...

Drove the winding road down into Weaverville. We would not want to drive this road with the RV..

Spent some time browsing around town. We had hoped to visit the Wag Bar...a dog park with a bar for the humans...but with the storm coming and the time to "check in" ...paperwork for vaccinations etc...we realized we had run out of time...but we need one in Vernon!!

Back to Asheville... and because we had such a great experience at Hillman Beer yesterday....we just could not resist...
Lu met a friend whose hooman brings brings him here and he gets his own serving of bacon..

I so enjoyed having the rice bowl yesterday...it just happened again......George's burger was pretty darn good too!! My favorite place so far!!!

Then.........George ruined the mood and insisted on a tire rotation and clean clothes....

The sun is setting....time to get ready to search for fireflies..💗 We decided against touring the Biltmore ...just wasn't in the cards for us this time...maybe on a fall colours tour....
